Vehicle inspection is a procedure mandated by the authorities in which a vehicle is inspected to ensure that it conforms to regulations governing safety, emissions and other functions. Inspection can be required at various times depending on the utilization type and fuel of the vehicle. Proof of inspection is required before a license sticker or license plate can be issued or renewed. In other terms, once a vehicle is inspected, a certificate will be issued showing the results with a reading of the measurement acquired during the inspection. The certificate will show whether the vehicle passed or failed the inspection. In case of a failing inspection, please refer to the list of defects on the certificate. The vehicle should be re-inspected within 15 days from the date of the initial inspection to benefit from a discounted fee.
